— Making the website work for you

Accessibility

The Law Centres Network wants to make this website accessible to the widest possible audience. If you have any questions or suggestions regarding the accessibility of this site, please contact us

Changing text size

Most browsers feature the ability to resize text on screen to a level you feel comfortable with. This tool is available in the menu of various browsers, normally by selecting View and then Text Size (or Zoom, on Chrome).

Navigating with the tab key

You can use the Tab key on your keyboard to move between links and form fields on a page. A single press of Tab highlights the next link, Shift+Tab highlights the previous link.

Text to Speech

Our website can be read by text-to-speech software. If you do not have such software installed already, please see these free options for download from the RNIB website.

Links

Links taking you to other websites will normally open in another tab or window, so you do not lose your page on our website and can keep browsing both.

Standard

This website was built to conform to the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0. It was built using code compliant with W3C standards for HTML and CSS. This means that it displays correctly in current browsers, and should continue to display correctly in future browsers.

The Law Centres Network seeks to follow accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability. Still, it is not always possible to do so in all areas of the website. If you would like content on this website in hard copy or a different format, please contact us.

More suggestions on how to improve your web browsing experience, on this site and elsewhere, can be found on the BBC website.
