An innovative project launched by Hackney Community Law Centre in collaboration with University College London and thejusticegap.com aims to tackle ignorance and misconceptions about the law.
The project, 'Mind the Justice Gap', aims to inform young people about the law, how helpful it might be to their lives, and how they might consider it as a potential career path. So far it involved activities at Hackney's Mossbourne Community Academy, one of England's great turn-around schools. Also participating in the project were the journalist and HCLC patron Jon Robins and former legal aid minister Lord Bach.
