Since 1972 Islington Law Centre has provided free legal advice and assistance to people who live, work or study in Islington. Our services are for people who are on low incomes, and we do not charge clients for our time. We have a social enterprise (www.greenrootslaw.co.uk) which is a community law firm owned by the Law Centre and provides services in education, employment and immigration for people across London, and which charges on a not for profit basis.

Many of our services are only open to Islington residents and all of our services are for people on low incomes.
We are members of the Islington Advice Alliance.
The building is accessible to people with mobility difficulties and we can arrange eg signers on request.
